Kohler Announces Karbon UK Launch

The long anticipated KOHLER Karbon articulating kitchen mixer tap is now available in the UK.  Karbon presents the next generation in kitchen brassware technology with a truly innovative stand out design which will become the centrepiece of any contemporary kitchen. 

The truly unique, flexible design of Karbon marries cutting edge interior trends with the latest in product innovation and engineering.  It creates a central focal point in any kitchen and, if the reaction to its US launch is anything to go by, the long anticipated UK launch is sure to provoke strong interest in the UK interiors market and consumers with a flair for progressive design.  

With five pivoting articulated joints Karbon can be placed into an unlimited number of positions offering true hands free functionality and flexibility.

These multiple moveable joints mean the tap can be positioned at a variety of angles to lock water flow where you need it*.  Extend to fill large pots, lower it into the sink for food preparation and cleanup or just alter its position to create a design statement in the kitchen – whatever position you choose it will always offer the ‘talkability’ factor.

The Karbon tap is operated with an innovative deck-mounted joystick which provides precise temperature and flow control. The Karbon kitchen tap is available in high quality, durable Polished Chrome with a textured carbon fibre finish for rugged reliability and lasting strength.  It will be available in the UK from January 2010, RRP £1,190.
